The state pavilions have emerged as one of the major attractions of the festival, drawing visitors interested in exploring and purchasing traditional handicrafts from the northeastern region. A key attraction of the Mahotsav is the live demonstration zone, where visitors can experience indigenous craft practices and participate in activities such as lotus silk weaving, pottery, and basket weaving. The interactive section has provided an opportunity for people to understand the skills and techniques behind traditional art forms.
Another major highlight of the event is the impressive Ashtalakshmi rangoli, which represents the eight northeastern states through a visually captivating artistic display. The artwork reflects the cultural diversity and unity of the region.
The Bharatiya Kala Mahotsav will continue until October 6, allowing visitors more opportunities to experience the heritage, traditions, and craftsmanship of Northeast India. Shuttle bus services have also been arranged from various locations across Hyderabad and Secunderabad to ensure convenient access for visitors.
